Most people (i hope) don't hate Americans, they are not that stupid and realise that people are people. It's capitalism, greed and corruption people hate symbolized by American born TNC's like Mcdonalds - symbolic of America.

The corporate machine has no respect for life, only money and it shamelessly goes to any length to appease unaccountable share holders by raping and pillaging counties in all conceivable ways. It is a small minority of people that are evil/corrupt in America, same as anywhere.

Americans are (in genral) maybe a bit spOILt in comparison with the rest of the world? You can't blame them for that people are sheep.

Download W 7 & keep the setup file in drive other than C. Run Setup and when it ask where to install choose C drive. W7 automatically will install on C drive & will keep the old vista in windows.old folder (which can be deleted ). In this method you don't need to make bootable dvd/usb, dont have to format, partition or install new drivers and it's the most easiest way to install w7.

if you are interested I"ll explain further, remember this type of installation is not upgrade it's a clean installation

No no right i have studio latpop, i am getting it replaced ok with better specs like video card and hard drive etc.....and of course win7 64bit... Now i am on the same laptop now i have backed it up image..... I think she might end up regretting her decision in the end... seems like she just had a wee panic about it all & you saying no to moving in might have made her feel a lil on-edge about how serious you are about her. Now i don't know if you saying you woud like to move in would make her happy or make her feel more trapped? But if you didnt break up over anything that either of you did that was detrimental to the relationship then I think she's probably really missing you right now & she'll eventually regret losing you!


I hope is was just a panic and rash decision. I find it so hard to believe she could just end it over something like this, I know she loves me and I just hope she doesn't do something silly like be with someone else, because that would be the end of us.

i feel really bad for you but its amazingly uncanny how similiar your story is too mine!! i wanted to move out of my house and in with my boyfriend but he didnt want to. said he wasnt ready and said i was holding him back from all the things he wanted to do and that he was missing out... so i basically said if thats how you really feel then we shouldnt be together cause i didnt wanna be the blame for him missing out on anything... but he felt terrible after saying all that and now we've completely flip-flopped & he's the one who wants to move in together?!

No, Actually I have 7 .rar files which are split archives of a single 500mb file.
I want to upload the file as 500 mb itself on rapidshare.
But can't do that because of a bit slow internet connection.
So I wanted TO know that somehow could i upload the 500 mb file as one using the above referred 7 .rar split files?


EDIT - Okay free users are allowed 200mb only.
But What I have said above ,is that possible for a single 100mb file atleast?

So, you have probably all heard about the Chrome OS and Microsoft being forced to help the competition by having a browser selection screen.

Microsoft was sued because they can not ship Windows 7 with IE.

Now, google will probably release the Chrome OS with the chrome browser, right? Now that doesn't seem fair does it?


In my opinion google should also have a browser selection screen.

Anyone else have an opinion about this?

No, they basically shipped it without any browser, but gave PC manufacturers the chance to install any browser they'd like.

Though the most recent article about this case is that mozilla is complaining about the layout of the browser selection screen.

The way to make a virus FUD (fully undetected) is to crypt it, as to hide the real coding to the file, the file works as it should noramlly, but if u were to look at code, it would seem to be harmless, or not make sense.
I spent a lot of time tracking down hackers and cracking cryptors and selling them to av's.


on a virtual machine and see if there is a real keylogger inside? Or if its just Kaspersky that reports a false positive? Just asking - not sure if you got the time.

 

Yeah if i time today, helping a lot of people out at the moment, but if i get the chance, might give it a go.
 And yeah it is interesting to see what kind of thing hackers came up with, onw of the most interest yet simple cryptors, reversed the code and then put another program in to play it backwards. Was very effective, until i found it. LOL

what kind of statement is that, noramlly people dont willingly install keyloggers, and normally the point of them is that the infected, dont know.

Seeing as the PID is "0" it is probaly installed itself deep within system files and attached to important system application or .dll's the only things i can reccomend is that you try a System Restore (though if it is deep within your system this wont work) or back up your documents etc. and do a complete format and reinstall of your system.


Sorry to tell you the bad news and all, but it happens to the best of us, TBH i dont like Kaspersky, I use avast now, which i believe to be the best of them, it can detect virus before you have even downloaded the enitre file (has happened before  )

First you should figure out why Apache is crashing.
If it's because there are too many connections open to the mailserver the class you are using to fetch mails isn't programmed efficiently.

You can always start at the bottom of the emaillist and work your way up, storing how many you already saved and substracting that from the total number of emails.
Though this is just a nasty hack and you should try to avoid those.

Another quick suggestion is: set_time_limit(0);
This will make the time unlimited and the script will continue until it is completed.
It might be an idea to write some information to a logfile about what the script is doing (and at what times) so you can see how long stuff takes and how far along the script is.

 



I know why Apache crashes. Because it was storing all the information on memory and only at the end of all iterations it would put the information on the database and dump the data in memory.

I just installed nfs shift, whenever I start it, the game loads and then this black screen comes.
First I thought it was still loading. So I waited like 5 mins and still nothing came.
Btw my graphic card is Nividia Geforce 8400 gs.

I agree it has some type of double standard but more often with women (due to experience) then with men I notice this. From what I've read, if you intend on using Vista, 64bit is the "only" way to go to circumvent flaky compatibility problems. Vista's Archille's Heel was the lack of well designed third party drivers which was due mainly to M$ not sharing architectural information with them prior to the initial release of the OS. Poor marketing on M$ part...but what else is new?

I would probably go with Vista 64bit or possibly Windows 7 after giving the beta testers a while to work out the bugs.

Psst... no, but my PM informed him that he could position two Pentium II machines together and connect them with a crossover cable.
