    can anyone in the know help me out , ie where to get roms or the emmulators to put on the psp, and a step by step guide of some sort

    btw, it will be a psp3000 (xmas prezzie)

    you need to jail break your psp first.

    They should come with instructions on how to use.

    As for the ROMS (games), I use torrents

    Agreed  You need custom firmware first.
