I've been having this issue for a while now and can't seem to find a working solution. I use Winamp 5.35, recently updated to 5.36 beta, hoping to solve my issue, but to no avail. I've downloaded the latest K-Lite codec package and various others that seem to be latest versions, yet for some reason, I STILL cannot play video on WinAmp. I get the audio clearly and if I double click to full screen the movie, I get a still frame of where the video should be at that precise second, but it just stays on that still frame, unless, I go back to smaller view, which it repeats the process. My videos play fine on Windows Media Player. If I'm not mistaken, the same issue was happening when I tried to watch a DVD on my computer using CyberLink, I believe. I've searched all over the web for a solution, but it seems that all I ever find is suggestions of other players to use. I don't want to use another player. Can anyone help me?

Also, if the information is needed, I use an ATI VisionTek X1300 graphics card, with the latest version of DirectX 9.0c

Someone please help me. It's driving me mad...

what kind of video files? I just tried my winamp, works all fine, didn't do anything special while installing it, I can't play rmvb files (eventhough I have realalternative installed, but normal files like avi and mpg work just fine)
  1.

They're all .avi files. I don't have any .mpeg files to attempt, but I'd assume they don't work either. I've found a few suggestions by googling and tried them all and none of them worked either...I've no clue how to fix this. If I'm not mistaken, this problem started when I installed my new graphics card. I could attempt reinstalling my driver, but I don't see that as an issue, since they work fine in Windows Media Player.

Still no help on this subject? Sorry for the "bump of topic" mods, but I'm still having this issue and no idea on how to solve it...
