I downloaded the Release Candidate from Microsoft and got my key and I also downloaded a file to remove the watermark. Now I added a text file with my key and the watermark program folder to the main Windows 7 ISO but it does not boot.

If I just rename the file as .ISO (with no extra files added) and burn it then it works fine. I have tried renaming it from ISO toRAR and then adding the extra files and then renaming it back to ISO and burning it but it does not work.

I have also tried extracting the ISO file to a folder, adding my extra files, and then simply burning the files and folders to a DVD but still it does not boot.

Can anyone help me? I just want to add a text file with my key and a watermark removal program to the main Windows 7 file lists and make that into a bootable ISO.

    Thanks.

    try UltrISO

    open Win 7 in it

then mod the files, save and burn w/ Ultra

I do that all the time to mod OS's.........

it will also show you if it is bootable after modding
